Technical Project Leader - Cleanroom Cranes - Eindhoven - Fulltime

Do you know how to get the best out of your teams? As Technical Project Leader, you are the driving force behind multidisciplinary projects in lifting and hoisting for cleanroom and controlled environment. You will focus on the development of new and existing cranes.


The Engineering department consists of several development teams. As our Technical Project Leader, you will focus on developing and the continuous improvement of (new) cranes for clean rooms and controlled environment (production) environments. You will work closely with the Lead Engineers who focus on developing components for these cranes. Together with the teams, you know how to come up with innovative designs so that we stay ahead in a market that is in full swing.


As Technical Project Leader:

  • In consultation with the relevant teams, you translate the specific customer demand into a suitable (functional and technical) design.
  • You ensure coordination during the development process from concept to verification and you are responsible for internal and external communication.
  • You work closely with the Lead Engineers to ensure that work is done according to project scope and schedule.
  • You develop the technical plan, (sketch) designs, calculations, working drawings and descriptions.
  • You maintain an overview of all ongoing (sub)projects and provide periodic progress reports.
  • You keep a close eye on the commercial business interests.
  • You are continuously working on (possible) process and product improvements.
  • You challenge the teams to come up with (even better) creative and reliable solutions.
  • You contribute to Cleanroom Cranes' technology roadmap.

What do you have to offer? 

  • Completed college or university education in mechanical engineering.
  • At least 5 years' experience in product development and managing multidisciplinary R&D (sub)projects.
  • Coaching leadership style: you give teams space and encourage them to come up with creative solutions independently.
  • Knowledge of construction engineering and lifting technology and related laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of (the properties of) different materials and their applicability in a clean room / controlled environment.
  • Experience making conceptual calculations on load-bearing parts and supervising FEM calculations for third parties.
  • You are communicative (Dutch and English), analytical, decisive and stress-resistant.
