System Architect - Cleanroom Cranes - Eindhoven - Fulltime

Is Design part of your DNA and do you always go for the best possible (innovative) solution? As Systeem Architect you are the ‘driver’ and advisor of multi-disciplinary teams working on challenging projects in lifting and hoisting for clean room and controlled environments.


The Engineering department consists of several development teams. With your knowledge and experience, you will challenge these teams to come up with creative and innovative solutions. So that we stay ahead in a market that is in full swing.


As System Architect: 

  • You determine the system architecture of new products to be developed (cranes and components).
  • You translate the customer demand into an appropriate (functional and technical) design In consultation with the relevant teams.
  • You manage multidisciplinary teams in the various phases: from research to concept to design and realisation. You are the decisive factor in this process.
  • You take care of the verification process and validation of the system design.
  • You keep a sharp eye on quality and safety aspects and are continuously working on (possible) process and product improvements.
  • Using your knowledge and experience, you challenge the teams to come up with (even better) creative and reliable solutions.
  • You work closely with the Technical Project Leader, Lead Engineers and other technical disciplines and departments.
  • You contribute to Cleanroom Cranes' technology roadmap.

What do you offer? 

  • Completed university education in mechanical engineering.
  • At least 3 years’ experience guiding multi-disciplinary development projects and development teams.
  • With your powers of persuasion, you know how to get others on board and influence them.
  • Knowledge of construction engineering and lifting and hoisting technology and associated laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of (the properties of) various materials and their applicability in a clean room / controlled environment.
  • Experience making conceptual calculations on load-bearing parts and supervising FEM calculations for third parties.
  • You are communicative (Dutch and English), analytical, decisive and stress-resistant.
